Terms of Use 1. Acceptance. By installing or using CardAdvantage ("the app") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. 2. Non-affiliation. CardAdvantage is unofficial fan-made software. It is not produced, endorsed, supported, or affiliated with Wizards of the Coast. Magic: The Gathering, its card names, card text, and card images are trademarks of and © Wizards of the Coast LLC, a subsidiary of Hasbro, Inc. CardAdvantage claims no ownership of that intellectual property and uses it under the Wizards of the Coast Fan Content Policy. Portions of the materials used are property of Wizards of the Coast. © Wizards of the Coast LLC. 3. Card data. Card data, prices, images, and rulings are provided by Scryfall. CardAdvantage is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Scryfall. Card images and their copyright and artist information are shown as provided by Scryfall and remain © Wizards of the Coast. 4. AI features are built on Google Gemma models. By using them you agree not to use the models, or any output you obtain from them, in violation of the Gemma Prohibited Use Policy (ai.google.dev/gemma/prohibited_use_policy). In particular you will not use them to: perform or facilitate illegal or dangerous activities; generate child sexual abuse material or content that sexualizes minors; harass, abuse, threaten, or bully others; generate hateful or discriminatory content; facilitate violence, terrorism, or self-harm; create malware or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to systems; generate sexually explicit content; or create fraudulent, deceptive, impersonating, or disinformation content. These restrictions flow down from Google and bind your use of the AI features. 5. Cloud AI and data. The optional cloud AI tier sends the text of your prompt and the deck you are working on to a third-party AI provider (Google Gemini, via Firebase AI Logic) to generate a response. It requires a subscription, which is not offered yet, so the tier cannot currently be turned on. Do not put personal or sensitive information in prompts. On-device builds send nothing off your device unless you report an AI response, which sends that response and your prompt to us for review. AI suggestions can be wrong — verify card legality and rulings yourself. The optional cloud AI tier is restricted to users aged 18 or older. By enabling it you confirm you are at least 18 years old. 6. No warranty. The app and its AI suggestions are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Deck legality, pricing, and rulings shown in the app may be inaccurate or out of date; verify anything you rely on with official sources. 7. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. 8. Privacy. What the app stores, what leaves your device, and how to erase it are described in the Privacy Policy, available in this same Legal & Attributions screen. 9. Changes. These Terms may be updated; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
